Wood replied approximately 6-8 feet in height.

Sisk asked Wuertz if he would object to a condition that the evergreen trees be a
minimum of 6-8 feet in height.

Wueertz replied that he would accept that condition.

Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 16, Series 1999 - A Resolution
Approving An Amendment To A Final PUD Development Plan To Construct A Cafeteria
At StorageTek with the following condition:

That the PUD shall be revised to reflect two additional evergreen trees
measuring at least 6feet.

Seconded by Lathrop.

Keany asked Wood that if the parking lot is reconfigured in the future, may a condition
be incorporated in this resolution that parking islands and landscape islands be
incorporated in the future, with City approval?

Wood replied that he is uncertain what the timeline is for this project. He stated that
Council could require that a separate parking plan be filed.

Keany stated that parking islands and landscaping would benefit the building and the
entire landscape plan at StorageTek. He offered a friendly amendment that a new parking
plan be filed within a timely matter or that landscaping be installed in the islands that are
proposed if the parking plan isn't completed within twenty-four months.

Davidson suggested that instead, Council direct staff to contact Storage Technology
about creating such a plan.

Keany agreed and withdrew his friendly amendment.

Davidson called for additional Council comments and questions.

NONE

Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6-0 vote, with Howard excused from the
discussions.

Howard returned to the meeting.

12
