Davidson explained that the Planning Commission has not yet reviewed the Ordinance, therefore, it also needs to be continued to April 6, 1999. Howard moved that Council continue Ordinance No. 1293, Series 1998 - An Ordinance Approving And Adopting The Design Handbook For Downtown Louisville, Which Handbook Includes General Standards And Guidelines For All Development Projects In Downtown Louisville; And Amending Various Provisions Of Title 15 And Title 17 Of The Louisville Municipal Code To Incorporate The Design Handbook For Downtown Louisville Into The City's Building, Zoning And Planned Unit Development Regulations to the April 6, 1999, City Council meeting, seconded by Keany. All in favor. Mayer suggested that Council consider whether or not they want the same guidelines, parking ratios, etc., on either side of the railroad tracks. He stated that the development on the east side of the railroad tracks is very different than that on the west side. He suggested that the Planning Commission consider this at their public hearing, including a separate comprehensive plan for the east side of the tracks. ORDINANCE NO. 1294 SERIES 1999 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO SET A MAXIMUM FLOOR AREA RATIO WITHIN "DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE" AS DEFINED HEREIN - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 2/21/99) - recommend continuance to 4/6/99 Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. Sam Light, City Attorney, read by title only, Ordinance no. 1294 series 1999 - an ordinance amending title 17 of the Louisville municipal code to set a maximum floor area ratio within "downtown Louisville" as defined herein.
