Renewal Application - Jalisco Dos Amigos, Inc. d/b/a Casa Alegre - Hotel <br />and Restaurant Liquor License - 1006 Pine St. <br />Mulvahill called for any changes to the consent agenda. Rommelfanger moved <br />the consent agenda be approved. Carlson seconded. Roll Call Vote: <br />Rommelfanger - yes, Mulvahill - yes, Koertje - yes and Carlson - yes. Consent <br />agenda approved. <br />Authority Business <br />None <br />Police Department Reports <br />Secretary Hanson reported Office Gordanier attended a county-wide meeting <br />today on underage drinking and extended her apologies for not being available to <br />attend the Authority meeting. No police departments reports to review. <br />Secretary's Report <br />A. Attendance at March 12, 2006 Seller/Server Training <br />Hanson reported the training session was well attended. Forty-four persons from <br />Louisville establishments received training. <br />B. Additional Seller/Server Training Dates <br />Secretary Hanson included a list of the remaining training dates for the year. <br />C. Granting of Continuance on The Back Room Show Cause Hearings <br />Hanson informed the Authority she had granted a continuance on the show <br />cause hearings at the request of the attorney for the Authority, Stefan <br />Fredricksmeyer. The hearings are set for the next Authority meeting to be held <br />on April 24, 2006. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />Attorney Light thanked the members of the Authority for attending the Open <br />Government training recently held by the City. Attorney Light gave the Authority <br />members a hand-out on a recent Court of Appeals decision concerning the level <br />of proof required in show cause hearings. This opinion states the licensee needs <br />constructive knowledge of a violation occurring, they should use reasonable care <br />and diligence and this is enough to hold the licensee responsible. <br />
