Secretary Hanson <br />asked to remove Item F for discussion under Authority Business. Mulvahill <br />moved Item F be removed from the Consent Agenda and moved to Authority <br />Business. Rommelfanger seconded. Roll Call Vote: Wilson - yes, Mulvahill - <br />yes, Rommelfanger - yes and Carlson - yes. Rommelfanger moved the consent <br />agenda be approved as amended. Wilson seconded. Roll Call Vote: <br />Rommelfanger - yes, Mulvahill - yes, Wilson - yes and Carlson - yes. Consent <br />agenda approved as amended. <br />Authority Business <br />A. Special Events Permit Application - Louisville Downtown Business <br />Association - Downtown Street Faire <br />Arlin Lehman, President of the Downtown Business Association, was present to <br />speak to the Authority concerning proposed changes to the premises for the <br />handling of alcohol at the Street Faire. His proposal would allow participants to <br />carry their beverages around the Faire and not be confined to just a small area in <br />the pavilion. He reported he had spoken to Sergeant Lanphere and had gotten <br />his approval of the plan. The Authority asked some questions concerning <br />monitoring and liability. Rommelfanger moved the Authority approve the Special <br />Events Permit for the Louisville Downtown Business Association for the Summer <br />Street Faire dates. Mulvahill seconded. Roll Call Vote: Carlson - yes, <br />Rommelfanger - yes, Wilson - yes and Mulvahill - yes. Motion carries. <br />B. Show Cause Hearing - The Back Room Brewery, Inc. d/b/a The Back <br />Room - Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License - 328 S. McCaslin Blvd. - <br />1/28/06 Incident <br />Chairperson Mulvahill opened the show cause hearing. Stefan Fredricksmeyer, <br />Special Prosecutor for the Licensing Authority and Thomas Newman, owner of <br />The Back Room introduced themselves to the Authority. Mulvahill confirmed Mr. <br />Newman was representing himself in this matter. Mulvahill moved the items in <br />
