<br /> Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> May 22,2006 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />Mulvahill called for any changes to the consent agenda. Lipton moved the <br />consent agenda be approved. Rommelfanger seconded. Roll Call Vote: <br />Rommelfanger - yes, Mulvahill - yes, Wilson - yes, Koertje - yes and Lipton - <br />yes. Consent agenda approved. <br />Authority Business <br />A. Findings and Order - Show Cause Hearing - The Back Room <br /> Brewery, Inc. d/b/a The Back Room - Hotel and Restaurant Liquor <br /> License - 328 S.McCaslin Blvd. - 2/13/06 Incident - Continuance <br /> Requested <br />Attorney Light reminded the Authority they had taken evidence on this issue at <br />the last meeting and had directed the Attorney to prepare a draft of written <br />findings and an order for consideration at this meeting. Staff has received a <br />letter from Mr. Newman, the licensee, asking for a continuance as he can not be <br />in attendance. Mr. Fredricksmeyer, special prosecutor for the Authority, had <br />stated he had no objection to the continuance. Wilson moved the Authority <br />continue this matter until June 26,2006. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: <br />Rommelfanger - yes, Koertje - yes, Lipton - yes, Wilson - yes and Mulvahill - <br />yes. Motion carries. <br />Police Department Reports <br />A. Incident Report - Casa Alegre - 3/22/06 <br />Officer Gordanier mentioned this item was the one the Authority had wanted to <br />see the follow-up on. Chairperson Mulvahill thanked the Police Department for <br />the additional report and commented he thought the officer had done a thorough <br />job. Authority consensus was there was no further action needed by the <br />Authority. <br /> B. Incident Report - Centennial Wine & Spirits - 5/6/06 <br />This incident involved a response by the Police Department to a report of a <br />person on a bike, thought to be intoxicated, leaving Centennial Wine and Spirits. <br />Lipton moved the Authority conduct a show cause hearing on this matter at the <br />June 25, 2006 meeting and the Authority attorney appoint a special prosecutor. <br />Wilson seconded. Roll Call Vote: Rommelfanger - yes, Koertje - yes, Wilson - <br />yes, Lipton - yes and Mulvahill - yes. Show cause ordered. <br />Secretary's Report <br />Hanson reported the licensee whose license had not been returned from the <br />state due to tax issues had received their license. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />
