The Board has requested Council appoint a member to fill the vacancy. <br />Mayor Pro T em Brown commended the efforts of Elle Cabbage and all the <br />volunteers who made the Fall Festival a success. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br />ORDINANCE No. 1498, SERIES 2006 - AN ORDINANCE ENACTING <br />CHAPTER 3.07 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, PERTAINING TO <br />THE PROCUREMENT OF GOODS AND SERVICES - 2nd reading - public <br /> hearing (advertised Daily Camera 8/19/06) <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1498. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown opened the public hearing and requested a Staff <br />presentation. <br />Finance Director Leslie explained Ordinance No. 1498 Series 2006 provides <br />direction to the City and City Manager in establishing and administering <br />purchasing policies for the City of Louisville. In section 3.07.030 of the <br />ordinance, it describes how City Council may adopt by resolution procedures and <br />regulation for the procurement of goods and services and the management of <br />procurement contracts. <br />
