<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> December 5, 2006 <br /> Page 2 of 21 <br /> APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk stated Chief Goodman was in attendance should Council have <br />questions on Consent Agenda Item 40. There were no questions or comments. <br />The Mayor called for changes to the consent agenda, and hearing none, moved <br />the agenda be approved, seconded by Mayor Pro T em Brown. All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes (11/21/06) <br />C. Approval of 2007 Special Event Coordinator Contracts <br />D. Approval of An Intergovernmental Agreement by and Between <br /> Boulder County, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, the Cities <br /> of Lafayette and Louisville, and the Town of Erie to Establish A <br /> Collective Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWA T) <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br />Mayor Sisk requested the City Council convene an executive session for purpose <br />of discussing a City Manager personnel matter. <br />City Clerk Varra recited Section 2.90.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code, which <br />governs the topics that may be discllssed in an executive session. <br />City Attorney Light explained the Louisville Home Rule Charter and the Colorado <br />Revised Statutes provides the authority for convening an executive session. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved CounGiI convene an executive session to discuss a <br />City Manager personnel matter, as authorized by the Charter and Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, seconded by Council member Marsella. All in favor. <br />The City Council went into executive~ session at 6: 10 p.m. Council member <br />Muckle arrived at the session at 6:10 p.m. and attended the executive session. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS CONTINUTED <br />Mayor Sisk called the regular business meeting back to order at 7:07 p.m., and <br />reported the executive session pertained to a City Manager personnel matter and <br />was attended by all Council members and City Attorney Light. <br />Attorney Light stated the executive session related to a personnel matter as <br />authorized by both the Colorado Revised Statutes and the Home Rule City <br />Charter. He explained the discussion centered on a separation agreement <br />between City Manager Bill Simmons and the City of Louisville. <br />
