Communicating Directly with the Mayor and City Council Members <br />Contact information for the Mayor and City Councilmembers is available at www.LouisvilleCO.gov, as well as at <br />City Hall, the Louisville Public Library, and the Recreation/Senior Center. You may email the Mayor and City <br />Council as a group at Council@LouisvilleCO.gov. <br />Mayor's Town Meetings and City Council Ward Meetings are scheduled periodically. These are informal <br />meetings at which all residents, points of view, and issues are welcome. These meetings are advertised at City <br />facilities and on the City's website (www.LouisvilleCO.gov). <br />Mayor and City Council Elections <br />City Council members are elected from three Wards within the City and serve staggered four-year terms. <br />There are two Council representatives from each ward. The mayor is elected at -large and serves a four-year <br />term. City Council elections are held in November of odd -numbered years. For information about City elections, <br />including running for City Council, please contact the City Clerk's Office, at ClerksOffice@LouisvilleCO.gov or <br />303.335.4536. <br />Serving as an Appointed Member on a City Board or Commission <br />The City Council makes Board and Commission appointments annually. Some of the City's Boards and <br />Commissions are advisory, others have some decision -making powers. The City Council refers questions and <br />issues to these appointed officials for input and advice.
