A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR STOLZMANN
With summer fading and students
back in school, fall presents us with
an opportunity to revisit some of
our routines and choices.
As the days get cooler, consider
replacing short car trips with
biking or walking when possible.
In addition to the exercise, biking
and walking are some of the best
ways to enjoy our beautiful community, and fewer cars
means safer streets for our students as they walk to bus
stops and schools. When you do have to drive, take
extra care: observe speed limits, don't use your phone
while driving, and look twice for children, especially on
our residential streets and near schools, school buses,
parks, and playgrounds.
In Louisville, we look out for one another — it's one of
the things that makes this such a special place to live.
Sincerely,
Mayor Ashley Stolzmann
MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL
Mayor Ashley Stolzmann
Ward 1
Ward 2
Ward 3
Caleb Dickinson
Chris Leh
Deborah Fahey
Maxine Most
BOARD & COMMISSION VACANCIES
The City will be accepting applications for 2023 board
and commission vacancies beginning October 3.
Special skills are not required for most boards, but
communication skills, problem solving, teamwork,
community engagement, and a commitment to
transparency are beneficial characteristics to possess.
We are looking for a wide variety of viewpoints that
represent all aspects of the community. Becoming a
member of a board or commission is an excellent way to
become active in city government and offers citizens an
opportunity to provide expertise in areas of individual
interest. The City has a variety of boards that advise in
many different areas including the arts, land use, history
and historic preservation, parks and open space.
Visit LouisvilleCO.gov/Boards in October for more
details. The application deadline is November 11.
If selected, new board members will take their seats
in January.
