We will <br />provide the main meal of turkey or vegetarian option, <br />stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry, and <br />roll. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share with <br />friends at your table. This event is free with a suggested <br />donation of $4.00 for people ages 60+. The cost is $12 <br />for anyone under 60 years of age. Please register no <br />later than 1:30 PM on Tuesday, December 13 to ensure <br />we order enough food. Free Lifeguard Training <br />Be the one who takes an active role in protecting your <br />community and keeping the pools open. Free lifeguard <br />training is offered at the Louisville Recreation & Senior <br />Center for candidates who agree to work as a lifeguard <br />in Louisville. Pre -requisites for training are being able <br />to swim 300 meters continuously, tread water for two <br />minutes with no hands, and retrieve a 10 lb brick from <br />the deep end and swim it back to the shallow end in <br />1 minute 40 seconds. Pizza will <br />be available for purchase. Limited space. Registration is <br />required for each person. <br />The Glow Pool Party is Back! <br />Saturday, February 25 16 PM-8 PM <br />Bring the whole family to the Louisville Recreation & <br />Senior Center pools for a glow -in -the -dark pool party! <br />Enjoy a night of lights, music, games, food, and more at <br />your community pools. Glow sticks and other lights will <br />be provided to each attendee. Registration is required. <br />Master's Swimming <br />Master's swimming is coming to the Louisville <br />Recreation & Senior Center. Build your endurance for <br />your upcoming race or simply enjoy the camaraderie <br />of other swimmers as you pursue a higher fitness level. <br />Work on individual goals in a group setting to become <br />the swimmer you've been striving to be. Workouts <br />are structured for your ability level and pace. All are <br />welcome to join! Coached workouts Mondays and <br />Wednesdays at 12 PM. Check the catalog and website <br />for details! <br />YOUTH PROGRAMS <br />Preschool at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center <br />Registration begins in January for the 2023-2024 school <br />year (children age 3-5 by 10/1/23) <br />Looking for a part-time preschool program that is <br />educational, fun, and nurturing? This state -licensed <br />program, based at Louisville Recreation & Senior Center, <br />is designed to meet the academic, social and physical <br />needs of young children by providing a stimulating, safe <br />and healthy environment. The classrooms offer floor -to - <br />ceiling windows offering views of the Front Range and <br />unique outdoor learning space. The program promotes <br />a "community feel." Expanded program options are <br />available. <br />Space is currently available for the current school <br />year.
