Make sure to check the calendar <br />or subscribe to the Museum's monthly e-newsletter to <br />find out the themes for each month! <br />September is Louisville History Month! <br />Celebrate history all month long by visiting the <br />Historical Museum campus, or attending one of our <br />programs during the month of September, like First <br />Friday, a walking tour, or the base ball game! <br />Vintage Base Ball Game <br />Saturday, Sept.16 111 a.m. I Miners Field <br />Take me out to the ball game! You're invited to this free <br />vintage base ball game, back by popular demand for a <br />third year! This showdown will feature historic uniforms, <br />equipment, and game rules. Bring the whole family <br />to enjoy America's pastime with cracker jacks, free <br />t-shirts (while supplies last), and photo opportunities! <br />Historical Museum Walking Tours <br />Saturday, Sept. 23 19 a.m. I Historical Museum <br />Saturday, Sept. 30 19 a.m. I Historical Museum <br />The Museum offers walking tours in downtown <br />Louisville with historic themes. Join us for "Historic <br />Trees of Downtown Louisville" on September 23 and <br />"Louisville on La Farge" on September 30. Both tours <br />meet at the Historical Museum and require registration. <br />Check the Museum calendar for registration details. <br />Stories in the Dark <br />Friday, Oct. 20 17-8 p.m. I Historical Museum <br />Join the Louisville Historical Museum and the <br />Boulder Valley Spellbinders for rarely -heard, local <br />mystery and suspense stories told under the stars. <br />This program is recommended for ages 6+ and will <br />take place outside in the Museum Courtyard. Bring <br />a blanket or chairs if desired. Check the Museum <br />calendar for registration details. Rain date: Oct. 21 <br />at 7 p.m. <br />Marshall Fire Conservation Workshop <br />October 14, November 18 12-4 p.m. <br />Library First Floor Meeting Room <br />Drop -in between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Louisville Public <br />Library on October 14 or November 18 to meet with <br />a professional conservator. Conservators will be <br />available to discuss how to clean, stabilize, and <br />preserve items damaged by the Marshall Fire.
