SUSTAINABILITY <br />L <br />Energy efficiency and electrification rebates <br />Are you interested in saving money while improving <br />your home's energy efficiency? The City of Louisville is <br />piloting a limited -time rebate program to help residents <br />make home energy improvements. Rebates are <br />available for projects completed in 2024 and available <br />on a first -come, first served basis. You must register with <br />EnergySmart before your proiect begins to be eligible <br />for rebates. After you register, an EnergySmart advisor <br />will guide you through the Louisville rebates available <br />for your home project. To learn more about the rebates, <br />visit EnergySmartYes.com/Louisville. <br />For more information and <br />resources about Louisville's <br />Community Decarbonization <br />Plan, scan this OR code. <br />Annual Spring Cleaning event <br />The City of Louisville is hosting the annual Spring <br />Cleaning event this year on Saturday, April 27 from 9:00 <br />a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Ascent Church (550 <br />McCaslin Blvd). Louisville residents are invited to attend <br />this event to recycle household hazardous waste, <br />electronic waste, and gas -powered lawn equipment. <br />New this year: the State of Colorado has implemented a <br />30% point -of -sale discount on electric lawn equipment <br />at local retailers, including lawn mowers, leaf blowers, <br />trimmers and snow blowers.
