As seasons change again, the City's Sustainability <br />Division would like to share some opportunities and <br />updates with the community. <br />Available now: energy efficiency and <br />electrification rebates <br />Are you interested in saving money while improving <br />your home's energy efficiency? The City of Louisville is <br />piloting a limited -time rebate program to help residents <br />of existing homes make home energy improvements. <br />Rebates are available for projects completed in 2024 <br />and are available on a first -come, first -served basis. <br />You must register with EnergySmart before your project <br />begins to be eligible for rebates. After you register, <br />an EnergySmart advisor will guide you through the <br />Louisville rebates available for your home project. <br />To learn more about the rebates, visit EnergySmartYes. <br />com/Louisville. <br />Purchase an electric vehicle (EV) today! <br />Hurry to take advantage of Colorado's state tax credits <br />for EVs before they are reduced! Colorado taxpayers <br />who purchase or lease a new EV with a suggested retail <br />price (MSRP) up to $80,000 in 2024 are eligible for a <br />$5,000 state tax credit. EVs under $35,000 MSRP are <br />eligible for an additional tax credit of $2,500. Ask your <br />dealership if they provide incentives at the point of sale <br />to save on the spot.
