Gift cards and FaceTime personal shopping are just
a couple of the creative options being offered when stores are
operating with restrictions on in -person shopping.
If spending money isn't in your budget this holiday season, you
can always support businesses by leaving positive reviews on
Yelp or Google, or by following, liking, or interacting with a
business's social media accounts. Every time you do, you're
helping that business reach potential customers.
Visit LouisvilleCO.gov/SupportLocal for more ways to Support
Local in Louisville.
LOUI SVI LLE
LovFs
LOCAL
Create more jobs.
Independent businesses employ more
people directly per dollar of revenue
and are also the customers of local
printers, accountants, wholesalers,
farms, etc.
Be kind to the environment.
Independent, community -serving
businessses are smaller and consume
less land, carry more locally -made
products, are located closer to residents,
and create less traffic and air pollution.
Keep Louisville unique!
Communities are defined in large part
by the businesses that reside within
them, and that plays a big factor in
your overall satisfaction with where
you live and the value of your home
and property.
Give back to your community.
Small businesses donate more than
twice as much per sales dollar to local
non -profits, schools, events, and teams
compared to big businesses.
Local sales tax stays local.
When you spend money in Louisville
you're supporting the City's parks,
open space, public art, library, and
events.
