RESOLUTION NO. 55 SERIES 1998 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL REVIEW USE TO OPERATE A MIDDLE SCHOOL FOR ST. LOUIS CATHOLIC CHURCH/SCHOOL LOCATED AT 841 GRANT AVENUE WHEREAS, there has been submitted a Special Review Use application to the City Council by St. Louis Catholic Church and School to operate a middle school at 841 Gram Avenue; and WHEREAS, all materials related to the Special Review Use have been reviewed by City Staff and the Planning Commission and found to be in compliance with the Louisville zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and related policies; and WHEREAS, after a properly advertised public hearing concerning said Special Review Use the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Special Review Use to the City Council with conditions; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said Special Review Use should be approved, with the following conditions: That the proposed circulation plan for 841 Grant Avenue incorporate a note precluding the parking of staff and volunteer vehicles adjacent to the church on Walnut Street. That the south side of Walnut Street adjacent to the proposed middle school be designated as a loading/unloading and no parking zone signed in the same fashion as the loading/unloading and no parking zone for 901 Grant Avenue. 3. That the SRU be granted to the applicant only. That the applicant shall be required to successfully amend the Special Review Use as required by Section 17. 40 of the Louisville Municipal Code prior to operations or expansion which would result in student enrollment to exceed 45 (forty-five) students.
