Moved to Authority Business from the Consent Agenda - Change of <br />Controlling Beneficial Owner: Louisville SC, LLC d/b/a Social <br />Cannabis Dispensary — Retail Marijuana Store — 1413 Hecla Way — <br />Machado addressed the letter received by the Authority regarding <br />this business. He stated the issues in the letter are not the purview <br />of the Authority. Machado moved to approve the change; Carlson <br />seconded. All in favor. <br />B. Public Hearing: New Application — Relish, LLC d/b/a Relish — <br />Entertainment Liquor License — 550 South McCaslin Blvd., Unit B <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Kaufman. The Secretary stated <br />the application was complete, the premises was posted, notice <br />published as required and no comments were received. <br />Background checks were conducted as required. There was no <br />reason to deny the application. <br />There were no authority member disclosures, and the members <br />agreed that the boundaries of the neighborhood are the current city <br />boundaries. <br />Kaufman moved the entire application be made part of the record of <br />the hearing; Lipton seconded. All in favor. <br />The applicant, Jeff Youngstrom, was sworn in by the Secretary and <br />gave testimony on the application for a new Entertainment Liquor <br />License. Mr. Youngstrom gave a brief presentation regarding the <br />food hall and pickleball courts covered in the application. <br />There were questions from the Authority regarding the areas in <br />which alcohol would be allowed, how the liquor license works in the <br />food hall setting, the tenants of the food stalls and what type of food <br />they will be serving. There was also discussion of the outdoor area. <br />The applicant stated he hoped they will be open in March 2025. <br />There was no additional member discussion. Carlson noted that the <br />applicant was of good moral character, there is a desire for the <br />license to be granted and that all City and State law requirements <br />have been met. Based on those findings, Carlson moved that the <br />application for a new Entertainment Liquor License be approved. <br />The motion was seconded by Crowe. Roll call vote was unanimous <br />for approval. <br />
