Cityo <br />im Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday, January 8, 2025 <br />Regular Meeting <br />1. Call to Order: Mayor Leh called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM. <br />2. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Mayor Leh, <br />Councilmember Fahey and Councilmember Kern. Also present were Acting City <br />Manager Samma Fox, Director of Community Development Rob Zuccaro, <br />Economic Vitality Manager Vanessa Zarate, and Economic Vitality Specialist <br />Austin Brown. One member of the public was in attendance. <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion <br />passed. <br />4. Approval of Meeting Minutes from December 4, 2024: Councilmember <br />Fahey made a motion to approve the December 4, 2024 meeting minutes. The <br />motion was seconded by Mayor Leh. Motion passed. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />None. <br />6. Approval of 2025 Meeting Dates: <br />Manager Zarate presented the proposed meeting dates for 2025. The proposal <br />was to continue meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. in <br />Council Chambers. Councilmember Kern asked if the meeting time could be <br />moved to later in the day. Mayor Leh asked whether that would work for staff. <br />Staff confirmed that they would be available for a later meeting time. Mayor Leh <br />also wondered whether that time would work for business owners. Mayor Leh <br />proposed that the meetings start at 3:30 p.m. Staff recommended that the <br />meetings remain on the first Wednesday of the month so that the Business Beat <br />Roundtables are still top of mind. Mayor Leh made a motion to approve the <br />proposed 2025 meeting dates, starting at 3:30 p.m. and ending at 5. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilmember Fahey. Motion passed. <br />7. Economic Vitality 2025 Goals: <br />Manager Zarate asked each member of the EVC to identify their top two goals <br />for Economic Vitality in 2025.
