Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 8, 2025 <br />Page 3of5 <br />projects that are in the works. Manager Zarate added that she feels that the City <br />doesn't celebrate its own wins enough, so residents don't always know what <br />has been accomplished. Mayor Leh agreed and concluded that Council needs <br />to be the biggest ambassadors for projects in the City. <br />8. Potential Future Agenda Items: <br />Manager Zarate commented that staff is planning to bring the Economic Vitality <br />Year in Review and a 2025 Market Update to the February meeting. <br />9. Staff Updates: <br />Manager Zarate gave an update on several items including the Boulder <br />Economic forecast and the Louisville Chamber Annual Awards Dinner. Mayor <br />Leh confirmed that staff will be attending the Boulder Economic Forecast and <br />that 5 members of City Council will be attending the Chamber dinner. <br />Councilmember Fahey asked whether the Business Beat Roundtable for South <br />Boulder Road businesses will include businesses all the way up to McCaslin. <br />Staff confirmed that those businesses will be invited. Mayor Leh agreed that he <br />would like to see more engagement in that area, specifically citing GAIA as an <br />example. <br />10. Development Updates Discussion: <br />Manager Zarate gave an update on several development projects and noted <br />that staff is working with GIS on a development update map that should be <br />launched in 2025. <br />Mayor Leh asked for an update on the former Lowe's at 1171 W Dillon Road. <br />Director Zuccaro responded that they have submitted a PUD application that is <br />currently in process. The application will need to go to both Planning <br />Commission and City Council for final approval, and staff hopes that it will go to <br />Council in the first quarter of 2025. <br />Mayor Leh asked about Redtail Ridge. Director Zuccaro responded that final <br />documents and agreements were recorded in late December 2024. He noted <br />that the construction documents for public infrastructure are still under review. <br />He anticipates that infrastructure will start going in during the first half of 2025. <br />Planning received the first PUD application for the first phase of development at <br />Redtail Ridge. Director Zuccaro confirmed that the PUD received is not for an <br />Avista parcel. <br />Councilmember Fahey asked when Relish would open. Manager Zarate <br />responded that the business is hoping to open in the first quarter of 2025, but <br />added that it may be delayed until the second quarter. <br />Councilmember Fahey asked if there are any updates on the former Carrabba's <br />at 575 McCaslin Boulevard. Manager Zarate responded that there has been <br />Agenda Packet P. 5 <br />
