Please give a brief overview of your project: a single event workshop, a group of students will get to know each other using theater warmup games and name -learning exercises. Students will be guided through various visualization and imagination exercises and provided creative writing prompts. Writings made will then be compiled, illustrated, and decorated in their own handmade booklet to take home. * 23. Project goal(s) to build kids' confidence, foster creativity, and promote self expression through art -making. * 24. Please outline the projects scope and the means of executing the project in greater detail: This is a project meant to encourage a sense of community and artistry in the Louisville youth! * 25. What is your target audience? 2nd to fifth grade students * 26. How will you market your project? posters in community center, word of mouth among parent groups, flyers at the Louisville Public Library * 27. Please describe prior experience in executing similar projects. I have around 19 years of experience co -leading or fully facilitating a number of student day camp projects including community theater performance camps, a fully immersive role-play sleep away camp, a yoga and theater day camp, and a College for Kids summer program designed around health and fitness for kids. * 28. How will you track and measure the success of your project/event? Success will be a filled workshop with students leaving enthusiastic about their ability to appreciate and create art. 29. How will your project benefit Louisville residents? This grant's funding comes from City of Louisville taxes, and it is important that the project reaches Louisville residents. This is a free event and a chance for Louisville youth to gather together and work collaboratively * 30. Have you received a Louisville Art Grant in the past?
