RESOLUTION NO. 27 <br />SERIES 2025 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT <br />FOR THE MALCOLM HOUSE LOCATED AT 600 PINE STREET <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />Malcolm House, a historic residential structure located at 600 Pine Street, on the property <br />legally described as Lots 1-3, Block 12, Pleasant Hill, Town of Louisville, City of Louisville, <br />State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the HPC have reviewed the application and found it to <br />be in compliance with Section 3.20.605.D and Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the HPC and City Council have held a properly noticed public hearing on <br />the preservation and restoration grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the preservation and restoration work being requested includes making <br />repairs to the existing structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission and City Council find that these <br />proposed improvements will assist in the preservation of the Malcolm House, which is to be <br />landmarked by the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />The City Council approves the proposed Preservation and Restoration Grant <br />application for the Malcolm House, in the amount of $5,750 for work as described in the <br />attached Exhibit A. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th Day of April 2025. <br />By: <br />Attest: <br />(Th <br />Genny Kline, Interim City Clerk <br />ChristopherM.
