Mr. Tischler stated the projected fees are not exorbitant in <br /> comparison with other municipalities. <br /> Council member Muckle asked if projections for Recreation Impact Fees included <br /> the non-residential business sector. Mr. Tischler explained studies have shown a <br /> majority of organized sports participants and business employees using City <br /> facilities are also residents. <br /> Mayor Sisk asked Mr. Tischler to explain the basis of all the impact fees. Mr. <br /> Tischler stated the impact fees show a need, proportionate and a benefit to the <br /> residents. <br /> Council member Clabots asked Interim City Manager Balser about a waiver of <br /> impact fees for affordable housing. Balser stated the City would be required to <br /> pay that portion of the impact fees for affordable housing. <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Brown asked if the impact fees would be evaluated on a regular <br /> basis. Balser stated they would. <br /> Mayor Sisk requested public comment and hearing none, closed the public <br /> hearing. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to approve Ordinance No. 1506, Series <br /> 2006, seconded by Council member Clabots. <br /> City Attorney Light requested a friendly amendment to include the arterial street <br /> map as Exhibit B. Mayor Pro Tern Brown and Council member Clabots accepted <br /> the amendment. <br /> VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. <br /> Mr. Tischler commended City Staff and Interim City Manager Balser. <br /> Mayor Sisk thanked Interim City Manager Balser and Finance Director Leslie. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 60, SERIES 2006 - A RESOLUTION DENYING A <br /> PRELMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT AND PRELIMINARY PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT (PUD) PLAN REQUEST FOR GA TEWA Y LANE <br /> SUBDIVISION <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />
