ORDINANCE NO. 781 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1982 EDITION WHEREAS, the Building Inspector has reviewed the 1982 Unifor~ Mechanical ~ode, and recommends the adoption of the same to City Council to update the Municipal Code of the City; and, WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the same should be adopted as set out herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. Section 15.08.010 of Chapter 15.08 of Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. Section 2. The following sections are hereby added to Chapter 15.08, Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code: 15.08.010 Adoption Pursuant to Title 31, Article 16, of C.R.S. 1973, as amended, there is adopted as a part of the Louisville Municipal Code by reference the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1982 Edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, 5360 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California 90601, to have the same force and effect as if set forth herein in every particular. The subject matter of the adopted code includes minimum standards relating to the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation, and maintenance or use of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators and other miscellaneous heat-producing appliances. In all sections of this Chapter where a reference is made to the Uniform Mechanical Code, said reference shall be to the 1982 Edition of said code. 15.08.050 Appendix Adopted Appendix C to the Uniform Mechanical Code regarding vent sizing is hereby specifically adopted as a part of the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1982 Edition.
