<br /> /....i" <br /> ;;J; <br /> '....... <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 783 <br /> - <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE <br /> THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1982 EDITION <br /> WHEREAS, the Building Inspector of the City of Louisville has <br /> reviewed the 1982 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the same should be <br /> adopted with certain amendments and deletions as set out herein; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section l. Sections 15.16.010 and 15.16.030 of Chapter 15.16, <br /> Title 15, of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2. The following sections are hereby added to Chapter 15.16 <br /> of Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 15.16.010 Adoption <br /> Pursuant to Title 31, Article 16, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, <br /> as amended, there is adopted as a part of the Louisville Municipal Code and as the <br /> Plumbing Code of the City, by reference thereto, the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1982 <br /> Edition, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical <br /> Officials, 5032 Alhambra Avenue, Los Angeles, California, to have the same force and <br /> effect as if set forth herein in every particular. The subject matter of the <br /> adopted code includes comprehensive provisions providing for the uniform plumbing <br /> standards for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety, and general welfare. <br /> In all sections of this Chapter where a reference is made to the Uniform Plumbing <br /> Code, said reference shall be to the 1982 Edition of said code. . <br /> 15.16.030 Appendices Adopted <br /> Provisions of Appendices C,D,G, and H are hereby specifically adopted <br /> and made a part of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1982 Edition. <br /> 15.16.060 Section 103 (m) amended - Building Drain <br /> Section 103 (m) of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1982 Edition, shall <br /> be amended to read as follows: The building drain is that part of the lowest <br /> piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge from soil, waste and <br /> other drainage pipes inside the walls of the building and conveys it to the <br /> building sewer beginning five (5) feet outside the building wall. <br /> 15.16.070 Section 401 (a) amended - Underground Drainage Piping <br /> The following shall be added to Section 401 (a) of the Uniform <br /> Plumbing Code, 1982 Edition: All underground drainage piping within a building shall <br />
