ORDINANCE NO. 786 ~-~- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE ADDING TERRITORY RECENTLY ANNEXED INTO WARDS AND RE- APPORTIONING THE EXISTING WARDS OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE. WHEREAS, the existing wards in the City of Louisville must be reapportioned in order to meet constitutional requirements; WHEREAS, recently annexed territory to the City of Louisville must be added to the wards of the City of Louisville. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. ~_._._----~_.~ Sections 1.20.020, 1.20.030 and 1.20.040, Chapter 1.20 Title 1 of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. Section 2. The following sections are hereby added to Chapter 1.20, Title 1, of the Louisville Municipal Code: 1.20.020 Ward 1 ~.~------------- Ward 1 is that area within the City that lies North of a line described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of Continental View Drive and South Boulder Road; thence easterly along the center line of South Boulder Road to the center line of the Goodhue Ditch; thence southeasterly along the center line of the Goodhue Ditch to the north boundary of Parkwood Subdivision; thence along the north boundary of Parkwood Subdivision to the center line of Via Appia; thence south along the center line of Via Appia to the center line of Lake Park; thence easterly along the center line of Lake Park and the center line of Lake Park extended to the center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence south along the center line of Lincoln Avenue to the center line of Lafayette Street; thence east and easterly along the center line of Lafayette Street extended to the eastern most city limit line of Louisville. 1.20.030 Ward 2 -------_.~--_._._- Ward 2 is that area within the City that lies between the line described as the south line of Ward 1 and the north line of Ward 3. 1. 20.040 Ward 3 ---- Ward 3 is that area within the City that lies south of the line described as follows: Beginning at a point along the center line of Pine Street extended to the western most City limit line of Louisville; thence easterly along the center line of Pine Street and Empire Road to the eastern most City limit line of Louisville.
