<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 787 <br /> ~ <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 13 OF THE <br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br /> COMPUTATION OF WATER TAP FEES WITHIN <br /> THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE. <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined by City Staff that the current procedure <br /> used to figure water tap fees should be updated; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the following procedure <br /> would best serve the City of Louisville. <br /> N~, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br /> Section 1. Sections 13.12.030 and 13.12.040 of Title 13 of the Louisville <br /> Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2. The following sections are hereby added to Title 13, Chapter <br /> 13.12 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 13.12.030 Sizing of Water Meters and Service Lines <br /> A. The size of the tap, the size of the service line from the tap to <br /> meter, the size of the meter, and the size of the service line out of the meter for a <br /> distance equal to at least thirty (30) times the nominal meter size, shall all be the <br /> same. <br /> B. The sizing of the service lines and meters shall be done in <br /> conformance with the most recently adopted edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code by <br /> the City. <br /> C. The amount of the tap fee for residential units shall be the greater <br /> of either of the following: <br /> 1. The amount determined by use of procedures set out in the <br /> Uniform Plumbing Code as set forth in this section; or, <br /> 2. Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00) for the first <br /> multi-family unit in a multi-family project and Two Thousand Two <br /> Hundred Fifty Dollars ($2,250.00) for each additional unit thereafter. <br /> D. The amount of the tap fee shall be computed by reference to Table A <br /> of this section in conjunction with Table B as set forth in Section 13.12.040 and <br /> following the procedure as set out in the Uniform Plumbing Code as adopted. <br />
