<br /> such notification relieve the industrial user <br /> of any fines, civil penalties, or other <br /> liability which may be imposed by this <br /> ordinance or other applicable law. <br /> (c) A notice shall be permanently posted <br /> on the industrial user's bulletin board or <br /> other prominent place advising employees to <br /> call in the event of an accidental discharge. <br /> Employers shall insure that all employees, who <br /> may cause such accidental discharge to occur, <br /> are advised of the emergency notification <br /> procedure. <br /> (d) S~ecial User Agreement. Nothing <br /> containe in thrs-chapter shall be construed <br /> as prohibiting special written agreements <br /> between the City and any other person allowing <br /> industrial waste of unusual strength or <br /> character to be admitted to the POTW, provided <br /> said user compensates the City for any <br /> additional costs of treatment. No such <br /> agreement may permit any discharge prohibitied <br /> in subsections 1 or 2 of Section 12.2. <br /> 13.32.060 Wastewater Discharge Permits <br /> A. Non-Critical Wastewater Dischargers. No person shall <br /> cause or allow the discharge of wastewater into the POTW without a <br /> wastewater discharge permit as follows: <br /> (1) Domestic users who have received a City <br /> service connection permit. <br /> (2) Industrial Users who are non-critical <br /> industrial users, as determined by the City, <br /> and have received a City service connection <br /> permit. <br /> B. Critical Wastewater Dischargers. No person shall cause <br /> or allow a critical industry to ~onnect to the POTW unless such <br /> industry shall have obtained a wastewater discharge permit before <br /> connecting to or discharging into the POTW. Each critical industry <br /> connected to the POTW on the effective date of this ordinance shall <br /> obtain a wastewater discharge permit by July 1 , 1983. <br /> C. Permit Application. Users required to obtain a <br /> wastewater discharge permit shall complete and file with the City an <br /> application in the form prescribed by the City. Each critical <br /> industry connected to the POTW on the effective date of this <br /> ordinance shall apply for a wastewater discharge permit prior to May <br /> 1 , 1983. Proposed new critical industries shall apply at least <br /> ninety days prior to the proposed connection to, or contribution to, <br /> the POTW. In support of the application, the user shall submit, In <br /> units and terms appropriate for evaluation, the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. Name, address and location of discharge <br /> (if different from the address). <br /> 2 . Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) <br /> 3. Wastewater quantity and quality. Quality <br /> characteristics include, but are not limimted to, <br /> those mentioned in Section 13.32.050 of this <br /> ordinance as determined by an acceptable analytical <br /> laboratory approved by the City. <br /> 4. Time(s) and duration of discharge. <br /> -10- <br />
