RESOLUTION NO. 29 <br />SERIES 2025 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HOME CONSORTIUM INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the United States Government, through the National Affordable <br />Housing Act of 1990, has established the HOME Investment Partnerships Act Program <br />("HOME" or "HOME Program"); and <br />WHEREAS, an Intergovernmental Agreement has been proposed between the <br />City of Boulder, as lead agency, and other political subdivisions, including Louisville, for <br />their participation in the HOME Program; and <br />WHEREAS, by this resolution the City Council desires to approve the <br />Intergovernmental Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the HOME Consortium <br />Intergovernmental Agreement (the "Agreement") by and between the City of Boulder, as <br />the lead agency, the City of Louisville, and other political subdivisions, in substantially the <br />same form as the copy of such Agreement accompanying this Resolution. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the <br />Agreement on behalf of the City, and the Mayor is hereby further authorized to negotiate <br />and approve such revisions to the Agreement as the Mayor determines are necessary or <br />desirable for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of <br />the Agreement are not altered. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May 2025. <br />ATTEST: <br />G • <br />Genny Kline, Interim City Clerk <br />ChristopheUM.
