AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, A PARCEL OF ;;2 "1 APPROXIMATELY 19 ACRES LOCATED SOUTH CLERK AND RECORfJl. OF HIGHWAY 42 ALONG COAL CREEK, WHICH IS OWNED BY CHARLES CHRISTMAN. FiLM12b4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, hereby determines that the parcel of real property described below is solely owned by Charles Christman and that said owner has petitioned for annexation to the City; and, THAT more or not less than 1/6 of the perimeter of the area proposed to be annexed is contiguous with the City limits of the City of Louisville; and, THAT a community of interest exists between the territory proposed to be annexed and the City of Louisville; and, THAT the territory proposed to be annexed is urban or will be urbanized in the near future and the territory is capable of being integrated into the City of Louisville; and, THAT the annexation election of qualified electors is not required for this annexation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section l. That the following described property situated in the County of Boulder, State of Colorado, be annexed to the City of Louisville, to-wit: The West half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 16, Township 1 South, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., except a strip 100 feet wide, being 50 feet in width on each side of the main track of the C&S Railway Company as said track is now constructed over and across such land; also except rights-of-way for roads and ditches and except mineral rights and right to enter and remove same; also except right-of-way 2 rods in width in favor of Colorado-Wyoming Gas Company, County of Boulder, State of Colorado. Section 2. That said territory is hereby annexed to the City of Louisville and included within the corporate boundaries thereto as an integral part of said City.
