ORDINANCE 809 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8.48 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE YEARLY LICENSE FEES FOR MECHANICAL AMUSEMENT DEVICES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville has determined that the yearly license fee of mechanical amusement devices should be lowered; and, WHEREAS, the City Council believes the new fee will still meet costs incurred by the City with respect to regulation of said devices; NOW THEREFORE be it ordained the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado. Section 1 . Section 8.48.020 of the Louisville Mu n i c i p a I - Code is hereby repealed. Section 2 . Following section should be added to Title 8 , - Chapter 8.48 of the Louisville Municipal Code: 8.48.020 License Required Any person, firm, corporation or association displaying or keeping for operation any mechanical or electronic amusement devices as defined herein shall be required to obtain a license from the city beginning January 1 , 1983. Said license shall be issued upon payment of a yearly license fee in the amount of $50.00 for each amusement devise to be used. Said license must be conspicuously posted upon each mechanical and/or electronic amusement device. Application for such license shall be made to the city clerk of the city and shall include the folloHing information: A. Name, address, age of applicant; B . A listing of any prior criminal convictions of the applicant; C. The exact location where the machine or device is to be displayed or operated and a description of the business conducted at that location in addition to the mechanical amusement device; D. A general description of the machine to be covered by the license; . ~,~ "
