ORDINANCE NO. 812 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 3.16 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, INCREASING THE SERVICE EXPANSION FEE. WHEREAS, there is a continual need for street improvements and their maintenance Hithin the City; and, WHEREAS, it is nedessary to increase such fees to cover increased costs with services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. Sections 3.16.020 (a) and 3.16.050 of the Louisville --- Municipal Code are hereby repealed. Section 2. The folloHing sections are hereby added to Chapter 3.16, - Title 3 of the Louisville Municipal Code: 3.16.020 (A) For any buildings constructed in a residential zone as defined in Chapter 17.12, the expansion fee shall be one dollar and fifty cents ($1. 50) per square foot of floor area as defined in Section 3.16.010, as the same may be determined from the plans and specifications submitted to the building official as part of the application for a building permit. 3.16.050 Us~ of Fee!~ - Street Improvement Fund Created III There is hereby created a street improvement fund. Fifty Cents ($.5Q) per square foot of floor area, shall be paid into a special segregated fund for street improvement. FiftY-five cents ($. 55' of the service expansion fee collected shall be used to help defray the expenses of the departments of Finance, Community Services, Community Development, Public Works and City Administration and the general expenses of the City shall be deposited into the general fund.
