<br /> ORDINANCE 821 <br /> - <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.32 <br /> OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE BY <br /> ESTABLISHING A QUALIFIED MUNICIPAL <br /> COURT OF RECORD. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville has <br /> determined that the interests of the citizens of the City would best <br /> be served by the establishment of a qualified municipal court of <br /> record; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said court of record must be established by the <br /> adoption of an ordinance of the City. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1 . Section 2.32.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> - <br /> Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2 . The following section is added to Chapter 2.32, <br /> - <br /> Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 2.32.010 Court of Record - Appointment <br /> The City Council, at its first regular meeting following <br /> each general municipal election, shall appoint a municipal judge who <br /> shall preside over the municipal court for a term of two years and <br /> until his successor is duly appointed and qualified. There is hereby <br /> established a qualified municipal court of record as defined under <br /> Colorado Revised Statutes 13-10-102. There shall be kept a verbatim <br /> record of all proceedings and evidence presented at trials in the <br /> municipal court by either electric device or stenographic means.
