<br /> ,- .f ./ <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 825 <br /> AN ORDINANCE INCREASING PARKS AND <br /> RECREATIONAL FEES UNDER CHAPTER <br /> 3.24 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville be- <br /> lieves that fees collected for the parks and recreational fund should <br /> be increased; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes that said increase in <br /> fee will greatly aid in the establishment and maintenance of parks <br /> and recreation facilities within the City. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1 . Section 3.24.020 and Section 3.24.030(A) of the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2 . The following sections are added to Chapte r <br /> 3.24, Title 3, of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 3.24.020 Funds Created <br /> There is created a parks and recreational fund and a tree <br /> fund. All parks and recreatil)nal fees collected in accordance with <br /> Section 3.24.030 shall be paid into these special segregated funds as <br /> follows: ten cents of each seventy-five cents per square foot shall <br /> be deposited in the tree funds and the remaining sixty-five cents per <br /> square foot shall be deposited in the parks and recreational fund. <br /> The treasurer shall account separately for all receipts and disburse- <br /> ments to and from the funds, and shall not commingle any part of said <br /> funds with other funds of the City. <br /> 3.24.030 Fee-Designated-Exempted Areas <br /> Any contractor applying for a building permit in accordance <br /> with Chapter 15.04 shall, as a condition of obtaining such building <br /> permit, pay to the City a parks and recreational fee, as follows: <br /> A. For any buildings constructed in a residen- <br /> tial zone, as defined in Chapter 1 7 . 12, the <br />
