<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 829, <br /> Series 1984 <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 805, SERIES <br /> 1983, ADOPTED AND APPROVED ON JULY 19, 1983 , IN <br /> ORDER TO AMEND THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT AND MATURITY <br /> SCHEDULE OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, <br /> INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BOND (LOUISVILLE <br /> MEDICAL ASSOCIATES PROJECT) , AND DECLARING AN <br /> EMERGENCY. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of <br /> Louisville, Colorado (the "I ssuer" ) adopted and approved Ordin- <br /> ance No. 805, Series 1983, on July 1 9 , 1983 (the "Bond Ordin- <br /> ance" ) , relating to the issuance and sale of its Industrial De- <br /> velopment Revenue Bond (Louisville Medical Associates Project) <br /> Series 1983, in the principal amount of $550,000 (the "Bond"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Bond was never issued and delivered by the <br /> Issuer; and <br /> WHEREAS, Louisville Medical Associates, a Colorado <br /> 1 imi ted partnership (the "Borrower" ) , now desires that the Issuer <br /> proceed with the issuance of the Bond on different terms than <br /> that approved by the Bond Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to modify the terms of the Bond, the <br /> Issuer must amend the provisions of the Bond Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, because of leqislation now pend ing in the <br /> Conqress of the United States it is necessary to proceed with the <br /> issuance of the Bond as soon as possible in order to obtain a <br /> federal tax-exemption for the interest on the Bond; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1 . Amendment of Principal Amount of Bond. <br /> All references in the Bond Ordinance to a Bond in the principal <br /> amount and denomination of $550,000 are hereby amended to a Bond <br /> in the principal amount and denomination of $400,000. <br /> Section 2. Amendment of Bond Designation. All referen- <br /> ces in the Bond Ordinance to a Bond designated: "Industrial De- <br /> velopment Revenue Bond (Louisville Medical Associates Project) <br /> Series 1983" are changed to a Bond designated: "Industrial Devel- <br /> opment Revenue Bond (Louisville Medical Associates Project) Series <br /> 1984". <br /> Section 3. Amendment of Form of Bond. The form of Bond <br /> set forth in Section 3 of the Bond Ordinance is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: - 2 - <br />
