<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 830 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 14 OF THE <br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING <br /> REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION FACILITIES. <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Communi ty Services has suggested a <br /> revision of certain rules and regulations concerning the use of parks <br /> within the Ci ty of Louisville; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of Louisville <br /> believes said regulations shall be for the benefit of the citizens of <br /> the City; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE: <br /> Section 1 . Section 14.12.010 J of the Louisville Municipal <br /> Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2 . The following subsection is hereby added to <br /> - <br /> Section 14.12.010, Ch apt e r 14.12 of th e Lo u i s v i II e Municipal Co de. <br /> 1.4.12.010 J <br /> In the use of any pat'k, bikeway, building, or recreation <br /> facility, all persons shall eomply with all the regulations of th is <br /> title, and it shall be unlawful for any person to: <br /> J . Bring or maintain in or upon any improved park, bike <br /> path, community building, 01' area designated by the director of <br /> Community Services as being subject to these rules and regulations, <br /> any dog or other animal, unless such dog or other animal is kept at <br /> all times on a leash not to exceed 1 5 feet in length, or under actual <br /> physical control of its owner or custodian. Said areas as designated <br /> by the director of Community Services shall be of a residential <br /> character or adjacent to a residential area or be areas adjacent to <br /> parks or other facilities us ed by the public. In addition, any per- <br /> son bringing a dog or other animal in or upon any improved park, <br /> within ten feet of an improved bikeway or area designated as <br /> described in this section, shall pick up and transfer from said park <br /> any feces from such animal. <br />
