<br /> ~ <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 837 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1 5 OF THE <br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING <br /> BY REFERENCE THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL <br /> CODE, 1984 ADDITION. <br /> WHEREAS, the Building Department of the City of Louisville <br /> has reviewed the 1984 National Electrical Code and recommends adop- <br /> tion of the same to City Council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville is of <br /> the opinion that said Code sh ou I d be adopted as set forth herein. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1 . Section 15.48.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2. The following Section is hereby added to <br /> Chap te r 15.48, Ti tIe 1 5 of the Louisville Mu n i c i p a I Code: <br /> 15.48..010 Adoption <br /> Pursuant to Title 3 'I, Article 1 6 , of C. R. S. 1 973 , as <br /> amended there is adopted as a part of the Louisville Municipal Code <br /> by reference, the National Electrical Code, 1984 Edition, published <br /> by the National Fire Protection Association, 470 Atlantic Avenue, <br /> Boston, Massachusetts 02210, to have the same force and effect as if <br /> set forth herein in every par'ticular. The subject matter of the <br /> adopted code includes the minimum standards relating to the installa- <br /> tion of electrical conductors and equipment with in or on public and <br /> private buildings or other structures, including mobile homes, rec- <br /> reational vehicles, and floating dwelling units; and other premises <br /> such as yards, carnivals, parking and other lots, and industrial <br /> substations.
