<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15 <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY <br /> WITH RESPECT TO ANNEXATIONS BY <br /> THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville believes that <br />an annexation policy for property located in the area of the City of Louisville <br />should be established to better manage growth and aid the City in its ability <br />to provide services to citizens of the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> That annexation of property to the City of Louisville for any type <br />of residential use be limited to property which meets the following listed <br />criteria: <br /> l. That said property is located within the urban service area of <br />the City of Louisville. <br /> 2. That the specific intended use and intensity of use be submitted <br />in writing with the annexation request. <br /> 3. That the property proposed for annexation should not be greater <br />that ten (10) acres and the proposed plan of intended use and intensity of use <br />not be for a density of greater that one dwelling unit per five (5) acres; <br />however, if the size of the parcel is less than five (5) acres, one dwelling <br />unit would be allowed. This provision would not apply to property owned by <br />the City of Louisville, property proposed to be totally open space, or if the <br />applicant for annexation shows a compelling benefit to the City of Louisville <br />caused by such annexation. <br /> 4. 'That said annexation policy shall be in effect until March 31, 1985, <br />and reviewed by the City Council on or near that date. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this I.d day of ~J?
