Volunteer Louise Sternberg selects produce for clients of the Feeding arriiIies <br />Pantry at Community Food Share on Wednesday, (Matthewlorosista ft <br />Photographer) <br />Da Silva said this is coming at a time when food banks and pantries are <br />already dealing with an increased need for their services, <br />"We were looking at becoming stretched beyond our resources before we <br />had a bill come along that is going to make it much harder for all of us to do <br />our work," Da Silva said, <br />Most of Community Food Share's food is distributed by its local nonprofit <br />partners such as Longmont's OUR Centel; Lafayette's Sister Carmen <br />Community Center, Broomfield FISH and Meals on Wheels Boulder, The <br />nonprofit has onsite and mobile pantries, as well, In 2024, Community Food <br />Share distributed around 13 million pounds of food, <br />Community Food Share also buys food to make up for what Intl being <br />donated.
