LCity,/ <br />Louisville <br />ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />SUBJECT: ECONOMIC VITALITY DAY <br />DATE: AUGUST 14, 2025 <br />PRESENTED BY: VANESSA ZARATE, CECD, ECONOMIC VITALITY MANAGER <br />SUMMARY: <br />Economic Vitality staff has tentatively scheduled this year's Economic Vitality Day for <br />Monday, November 10th. Partners have been invited from the Louisville Chamber, <br />Downtown Business Association, Louisville City Council, Louisville Revitalization <br />Commission, Small Business Development Center, Workforce Boulder and the Boulder <br />Economic Council. <br />Economic Vitality Day is intended to be a day for all economic development partners in <br />Louisville to collaborate and partner with events, policies and priorities for the coming <br />year. In addition to exercises and collaborative sessions, we will produce a master <br />events calendar for 2026 to help encourage communities and partners to coordinate <br />and plan with similar events in mind. <br />Two of the sessions this year will be panels. One being a real estate and market update <br />similar to last year, and the second with members of the U.S. 36 Collaborative to share <br />updates on how we collaborate on attraction and retention. In addition, we will do <br />priority work for 2026 and share results of the Business Satisfaction Survey. <br />Economic Vitality staff is interested in hearing thoughts and priorities from EVC for <br />Economic Vitality Day. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There is no additional fiscal impact to hosting Economic Vitality Day <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends EVC review and provide feedback. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />
