Great to see that events that were repeated this year went better <br />than previous years - we are working towards our goal of creating <br />annual traditions <br />b. The new events also went great and some of them could potentially <br />become annual traditions as well <br />c. Remaining Events for 2025 <br />i. Board members - please market August 20th concert! <br />ii. Labor Day weekend - lots coming up: Senior Dinner (Friday <br />August 29th), Parade, Fall Festival <br />iii. Spreadsheet will be updated, remember to sing up to <br />volunteer! <br />iv. September will be busy - volunteers needed for these events <br />as well: <br />1. Basketball court mural underway, social media push <br />to celebrate it <br />a. Maybe we could do a walking tour to highlight <br />some of the public art we've already done <br />2. Dog event on Main Street with vendors, street closure <br />3. Iris and John are taking vacation in September <br />v. Silent film in October <br />vi. Trunk or Treat at Ascent/Relish <br />vii. Greg Fields sculpture installed at underpass towards the end <br />of the year <br />viii. Art Center sign will hopefully be approved by end of October <br />d. Next year is the five year anniversary of the Marshall Fire - could <br />fall under the board's planning <br />i. Whatever we do for this we want to be driven by the <br />community <br />ii. Community survey <br />iii. Not much to discuss yet <br />iv. Superior has been planning this since 2023, has members of <br />every board participating <br />v. Iris: CAB shouldn't be making the executive decisions <br />vi. Brandi: City of Louisville does a 2 year budget, $35,000 <br />sponsorship for Marshall Fire remembrance hasn't been <br />
