Compensatory Time: Compensatory time will be granted to all <br />elected officials and employees classified by the Personnel <br />Division as a Department Head or Division Head. Compensatory <br />time shall be earned on a one-half (~) straight time basis only, <br />excluding holidays worked which compensatory time shall be earned <br />on a straight time basis. No compensatory time will accrue after <br />twenty-four ( 24 ) hours have accrued on the records of an employee. <br /> CHAPTER 5 <br /> ----- <br />Section 5.1 OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS <br />All probationary and permanent full-time employees of the <br />City shall be eligible for holidays. <br />The following days re designated as holidays for all eligible <br />em p 10 ye e s : <br /> a . Floating Day <br />Any probationary or permanent employee who begins service with <br />the City in the first 6 months of the year (January through <br />June) will be entitled to 2 floating holidays. I f em p 1 0 ym e n t <br />with the City begins in the last 6 months of the year (July <br />through December) the employee will only be entitled to 1 <br />floating holiday for that calendar year. <br />
