City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 13, 2025 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Public Comment <br />• Leah Franks (FLASH) provided remarks in support of CAB. <br />City Manager Langley conducted the presentation on the responsibilities as stated in the <br />Louisville Municipal Code, and 2025 Council Work Plan. <br />Board Chair JR Kettleson presented the board's 2025 Proposed Work Plan and <br />highlights. <br />City Council asked questions, provided comments, and discussions were held. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION - REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS AND <br />DISPOSITIONS (01:08:00) <br />Mayor Leh introduced the executive session concerning discussion of real property <br />acquisitions and dispositions. <br />Deputy City Attorney Culley reported that the City Manager is requesting an executive <br />session for the purpose of real property acquisitions and dispositions concerning <br />properties in Louisville only as to appraisals and other value estimates and strategy, <br />citing the City Charter requirements. <br />Interim City Clerk Kine read Section 2.90.050 of Louisville Municipal Code. <br />Deputy City Attorney Culley stated the authority for the executive session, Section 5-2(C) <br />of the Home Rule City Charter, and C.R.S. 24-6-405(4)(a)); the request involves potential <br />acquisition of real property. <br />Mayor Leh moved to enter executive session for the purpose of discussion of real <br />property acquisitions and dispositions and that executive session include City Manager <br />Diana Langley, Deputy City Manager Samma Fox, Community Development Director <br />Rob Zuccaro and Deputy City Attorney Melinda Cully; seconded by Councilmember <br />Hoefner. <br />Aye: Leh, Hoefner, Fahey, Dickinson, Cooperman, Hamlington, Kern <br />Ney: None <br />Absent: None <br />Council adjourned into Executive Session at 7:12 pm. <br />Council reconvened at 8:31 pm. <br />
