CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />JUNE 15, 1999 <br /> <br />REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in a regular session in the Council <br />Chambers at City Hall, 749 Main Street, Louisville Colorado. Mayor Tom Davidson <br />called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the following persons were present - <br /> <br />City Council: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Davidson, Mayor Pro-Tern Chuck Sisk, Rob <br />Lathrop, Tom Mayer, Jay Keany, and Arnold Levihn <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director <br />Ken Johnstone, Principal Planner <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney <br /> <br />Excused: <br /> <br />Kevin Howard <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson explained that Agenda Items C & D should be reversed, as Resolution No. 30, <br />Series 1999 should be considered prior to Ordinance No. 1303, Series 1999. Davidson <br />called for any other changes to the Agenda. <br /> <br />Levihn questioned the appropriateness of Agenda Item H - Discussion of City' s <br />Activities Relating to the Ten Acres Along County Road Formerly Owned by the <br />Flatirons Community Church. He asked Sam Light, City Attorney, if it would be <br />appropriate for Council to discuss this item, as the City has not received a ruling on it yet. <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney, stated that he was not certain what the nature of the discussion <br />would be. He explained that certain topics could be discussed, however, he was not aware <br />of the items that Councilman Mayer intends to raise. <br /> <br />Mayer asked Light for clarification that the City is requesting an advisory opinion and <br />that no formal complaint has been filed. <br /> <br />Light replied, no, not to his knowledge. He stated that last week Mayor Davidson sent a <br />letter to an advisory judge, requesting an advisory opinion under the City ethics <br />ordinance. Light stated that he believes Mayor Davidson will provide an update on <br /> <br /> <br />
