<br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 8, 2007 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />Muth recommended that this be an item for discussion at the March meeting to which <br />she will invite Rich Koopman and Carol Beam from Boulder County and Karen <br />Westover and Monte Stevenson from Lafayette. <br /> <br />The items will be placed on the March agenda. <br /> <br />New Determinations of Eligibility for FasTracks <br />Muth noted that she had received notice from COOT that COOT had reviewed <br />additional sites for National Register Eligibility as per the Section 106 pro s. Muth <br />explained that none of the sites reevaluated or added were in Louisvill <br /> <br /> <br />Muth added that the rail portion and the road portion of the US 36 improvem <br />have been severed into two separate projects. She noted that IiJD and COO will <br />not be using Federal funds for the rail portion so they no longer'!" e required to go <br />through a section 106 process, although they are saying they wil ntinue the <br />section 106 process by choice. <br /> <br />Muckle expressed concern over the possible lack of a tion 106 process for the rail <br />portion of the project. Members asked if a tour <br />eduled for a Saturday morning and asked for the City Council to be <br /> <br />. en Seat on Commission - Muth told the Commission that there are three <br />plicants (including Heather Lewis) for the two open seats on the Commission. <br />The City Council will interview applicants later in January. To keep the CLG <br />required number of professionals on the Commission, the City Council will have <br />to appoint a professional to one of the positions. <br />. Best Practices Pamphlet - Muth asked members to give comments on the <br />pamphlet.
