<br /> , <br /> ( <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 27 <br /> Series 1982 <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing an Emergency Preparedness <br />Agency for the City of Louisville. <br /> WHE REAS , the City Council of the City of Louisville believes <br />the establishment of such an agency will be a benefit to the citizens <br />of the City of Louisville; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED there is hereby established <br />an emergency preparedness agency in and for the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado, to be known as the Louisville Emergency Preparedness Agency <br />and that such Agency shall perform disaster emergency functions in <br />conformity with the provisions of Section 28-2-101, et. seg. of the <br />Colorado Revised Statutes. -- <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator be <br />authorized to appoint the director and deputy director of the <br />Louisville Emergency Preparedness Agency. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the director, as the executive <br />officer thereof, has the direct responsibility for the organization, <br />administration and operation of the agency. That the director be <br />authorized to obligate funds made available for disaster emergency <br />purposes and be authorized and directed to accept and comply with all <br />applicable regulations and standards relating to the development of <br />an emergency preparedness operational capability, and the receipt of <br />federal assistance in that development. That the director be authorized <br />to sign all documents required to obtain federal assistance in the <br />development of an emergency preparedness operational capability and <br />be directed to comply with all the applicable Colorado disaster <br />emergency regulations and standards relating to said development and <br />to sign and submit all documents and materials required by the Colorado <br />Division of Disaster Emergency Services in that development. <br /> Passed and adopted this 3rd day of August, 1982. <br /> 4LI ;f/~;j <br /> Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Q:(;:9A (: ((td/l j~ <br />CitYiCl k <br />/ I <br />,,/ <br />\......../ <br />
