<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 10 <br /> SERIES 2006 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A NEW SPECIAL REVENUE FUND TO ACCOUNT <br />FOR TECHNICAL GRANT FUNDS RECEIVED FROM COMCAST OF COLORADO I, <br />LLC AND EARMARKING SUCH RECEIVED FUNDS AND INTEREST EARNED <br />THEREON FOR PUBLIC ACCESS TELEVISION PURPOSES <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the informal cable franchise renewal process pursuant to 47 <br />U.S.C. S 546(h), and specifically in relation to the unique needs of the City of Louisville, <br />Comcast of Colorado I, LLC (Comcast), by letter dated February 21, 2006, has committed to <br />make a $50,000 technical grant to the City, to be made within 60 days following the effective <br />date of Com cast franchise approved by Ordinance No. 1488, Series 2006; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to create a special revenue fund for such grant <br />funds and to designate the purpose for which such funds will be used. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. That a special revenue fund shall be created, entitled the Public Access <br />Television Fund. <br /> Section 2. That the $50,000 technical grant to be received from Comcast of Colorado <br />I, LLC, pursuant to its February 21,2006 commitment letter, and all interest earned thereon, shall <br />be deposited and maintained in the Public Access Television Fund. <br /> Section 3. That the full amount of such technical grant and earned interest in the <br />Public Access Television Fund shall be used solely for the provision of Public Access television <br />programming, facilities or services, with expenditures from such Fund, including but not limited <br />to payments to or on behalf of a designated provided of Public Access television, to be as <br />determined by City Council in compliance with applicable budgetary, appropriation and <br />[acting requirements. <br />OU/Sv. <br />~ ~~..;.:..."......~~~ SED AND ADOPTED this ih day of March, 2006. <br />~J.......l \ <br />(J { S$~ }ie <br />\ . <br />--+C.
