<br />Section 3. Section 17.48.070 ofthe Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read <br />as follows (words to be added are underlined; words to be deleted are stricken through): <br /> <br />Sec. 17.48.070. Rules of conduct; meetings. <br /> <br />The board of adjustment shall adopt rules necessary to the conduct of its <br />affairs and in keeping with the provisions of this title. The meetings shall be held at <br />the call of the chairmaH: and at such other times as the board may determine. The <br />chairmaH:, or in his the chair's absence the vice-chairacting chairman, may administer <br />oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses. All meetings shall be open to the <br />public. <br /> <br />Section 4. Subsections C. and D. of Section 17.48.110 ofthe Louisville Municipal Code <br />are hereby renumbered as, respectively subsections D. and E., and said section 17.48.110 is hereby <br />amended by the addition of a new subsection C. to read as follows: <br /> <br />C. For each application for variance from the provisions ofthis title, the <br />board of adjustment shall fix a reasonable time for the hearing on the application, <br />give public notice by publication of a notice and posting of the property at least ten <br />days prior to the hearing on the application, and provide notice by mail to property <br />owners within 500 feet of the property for which the application has been made at <br />least ten days prior to the hearing. <br /> <br />Section 5. If any article, section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase ofthis Ordinance is <br />held to be unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity or <br />constitutionality ofthe remaining portions ofthis Ordinance. The City Council of Louisville, Colorado <br />hereby declares that it would have passed this Ordinance and each part or parts thereof, irrespective of <br />the fact that anyone part or parts may be declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />Section 6.
