<br />downtown commercial district, and finds that development of the downtown commercial area <br />would be encouraged through the ability to increase building densities that would allow for three <br />story buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the amendments set forth herein will help foster <br />beneficial development with the downtown commercial district and are consistent with and in <br />furtherance of the Citywide Comprehensive Plan 2005 Update and the Highway 42 Revitalization <br />Area Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Planning Commission, after notice by publication and a public <br />hearing, has recommended the City Council approve the amendments set forth in this ordinance <br />regarding building heights and maximum floor area within the downtown commercial area; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council has provided notice of a public hearing on said ordinance by <br />publication as provided by law and held a public hearing as provided in said notice. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The Yard and Bulk Requirements table set forth as Section 17.12.040 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended (a) to delete "40" as the Maximum Height Principal <br />Uses (ft) limitation for the C-N zone district and insert in place thereof "35 (see footnote 10)"; (b) <br />to delete "50 (29 in Old Town C-C district)" as the Maximum Height Principal Uses (ft) limitation <br />for the C-C zone district and insert in place thereof "35 (see footnote 10)"; (c) to delete "50" as the <br />Maximum Height Principal Uses (ft) limitation for the C-B zone district and insert in place thereof <br />"35 (see footnote 10)"; and (d) to repeal and reenact footnote 10 of said Section to read in full as <br />follows: <br />2 <br />
