<br /> 8.44.030 Permits for Display <br /> A. The City Council may grant permits for supervised <br /> public displays of fireworks to any civic or non-profit organization <br /> or group upon receipt of written application. Application for permit <br /> shall be made with the City Administrator at least twenty days in <br /> advance of the date of display. Each application shall establish <br /> the date of the display, the proposed location, and the designated <br /> operators to be involved with the display. <br /> B. No permit shall be transferable or assignable. <br /> 8.44.040 Seizure of Fireworks <br /> The police shall seize, take, and remove, at the expense <br /> of the owner, all stocks of fireworks, or combustibles offered or <br /> exposed for sale, stored, or held in violation of this chapter. <br /> 9.04.030 Failure to Appear <br /> In the event any person fails to comply, or fails to <br /> respond, to a summons directing an appearance in Municipal Court, <br /> the Clerk of the Municipal Court shall forthwith file a Complaint <br /> against such person and shall issue and have served a warrant for <br /> his arrest. <br /> 9.46.030 Theft <br /> Any person who knowingly obtains or exercises control <br /> over any item or items of value of, or less than, $200.00, without <br /> authorization or by threat or deception and: <br /> A. Intends to deprive the other person permanently <br /> of the use or benefit of the thing of value; or, <br /> B. Knowingly uses, conceals or abandons the thing of <br /> value in such manner as deprived the other person permanently <br /> of its use or benefit; or, <br /> C. Uses, conceals, or abandons the thing of value <br /> intending that such use, concealment, or abandonment will deprive <br /> the other person permanently of its use and benefit; or, <br /> D. Demands any consideration to which ie is not legally <br /> entitled as a condition to restoring the thing of value to the <br /> other person. <br /> -16- <br />
