acquired only after the Parties have mutually designated in <br /> writing the book drop to be purchased. Louisville shall fund <br /> the purchase and pay the vendor; the book drop shall be <br /> delivered to Superior Town Hall and installed by Superior <br /> personnel. <br /> iii. Superior shall be responsible for all costs of routine <br /> maintenance of the book drop. In the event of theft, <br /> vandalism, or other damage or loss to the book drop other <br /> than through normal wear and tear, funds for the costs of <br /> repair or replacement shall be provided through available <br /> insurance, if any. If insurance funds are not available, <br /> Louisville shall have no obligation to repair or replace the <br /> book drop. <br /> iv. The book drop shall be made available to library users from <br /> 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday. <br /> v. Once each day Monday through Friday, by no later than 3:00 <br /> p.m., Superior personnel shall collect the items from the book <br /> drop in hard plastic courier bins owned and provided by <br /> Louisville and shall deliver the bins to the Louisville Public <br /> Library in a vehicle from Superior's fleet of Town -owned <br /> vehicles. <br /> vi. Upon delivery of the bins to the Louisville Public Library, <br /> Superior personnel shall unload the items onto a book cart <br /> provided by Louisville and return the empty courier bins to <br /> Superior for use the next delivery day in collecting and <br /> delivering items. Superior will store the courier bins. <br /> vii. Superior shall be responsible for all costs related to delivering <br /> arid returning the bins, including but not limited to gas, <br /> payment of staff time, and other overhead and costs. Superior <br /> personnel making the deliveries shall at no time be <br /> considered employees or agents of Louisville. <br /> viii. A notice shall be posted on the book drop stating the pickup <br /> time and warning book drop users that (A) materials <br /> deposited after the pick up time will not be delivered to the <br /> Louisville Public Library until the next day; (B) materials <br /> deposited on Friday after the day's pickup will not be <br /> delivered to the Louisville Public Library until the following <br /> Monday, and (3) materials will be checked in when delivered <br /> and will be subject to any late fees that may accrue. <br /> 105 <br />
