The motion was approved unanimously. <br />Stewart stated he would like the HPC to work with staff, Louisville Revitalization <br />Commission (LRC) and the developer (applicant) on the future reuse of this structure. <br />Koertje asked the applicant if they planned to provide the FasTracks parking as shown <br />in the RTD plan. <br />Brew answered in the negative. He added he would be willing to work with the HPC to <br />assist on the future plans for this area. <br />Koertje asked if there were any pressing plans for the demolition of the structure. <br />Brew answered in the affirmative and added he was just making sure they went through <br />the proper process. <br />Speier added it was clear the structure could be added to the project and provide an <br />economic benefit. <br />Stewart stated he encouraged Brew to pay close attention to the comments made <br />tonight by the HPC. <br />Speier asked if the HPC could provide design assistance. <br />Stewart answered in the affirmative. <br />Speier volunteered to assist. <br />Koertje stated if the building were on the National Register it would make it eligible for <br />financial benefits. <br />Brew stated he was willing to discuss these benefits. <br />Lewis asked if Brew had a design team on board. <br />Brew answered in the affirmative. <br />Stewart thanked Brew for his openness to discuss the project. <br />Public Hearing – Demo Request – 920 Main Street <br /> <br />
